New Member Information

If you are not a member of the Family Law Association and you would like to join, please in the first instance complete the New Member Application Form.

Your application for membership must be proposed and seconded by two existing members of the Family Law Association.

Once you have completed/signed your form, and had the form proposed and seconded by existing members of the Family Law Association, then please send the form by email to the Secretary of the Family Law Association.

At the same time, you should register and create an online account on the Family Law Association website. You will be prompted at that stage to pay your annual membership fee. Details regarding the relevant fee and the ways you can make payment will be provided.

Once you have created an online account and paid your membership fee, your membership will be activated/approved by the Family Law Association. Once your membership is active, you will also be able to access the “Members Zone” of the Family Law Association website. You will be required to create your own Profile. This will make your details available on the ‘Family Lawyer search’ in the public area of the website.

If you have any queries about membership that have not been answered in this section, please contact the secretary by email.
