As you are aware, our AGM and Conference will take place this year at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews on 22nd and 23rd November 2024. There is a great line up of speakers and, as always, it is sure to be a fantastic event. If you have not already booked your place then you can do so by completing the Booking Form and returning it to karenwyliefla@outlook.com.
With regards to the AGM, we have 6 spaces this year on our FLA Committee. The Committee is made up of twelve members, including the Chair Person, Vice Chair Person, Secretary and Treasurer. This year we have 6 vacancies, although there are 4 existing Committee Members who are seeking re-election.
The term of office is for three years, which can be renewed. The Committee usually meets every four to six weeks and our meetings are normally at either 4.30pm or 5pm, and last between 1 to 2 hours. The meetings usually take place by Online Teams Meeting (with 1 or 2 in person meetings per year).
The Committee welcomes new members. Please review the FLA Constitution which sets out the duties of the Committee Members for your information.
If you wish to apply to be elected on to the Committee then please complete the Application Form. Your completed Form should be returned to the FLA Secretary, Cheryl Wallace by email (cherylwallace@thorntons-law.co.uk) to be received no later than 25th October 2024.
