Livingstone Brown Solicitors
I have significant experience in dealing with various aspects of family law including residence/ contact disputes, relocation cases, divorce and separation agreements. I regularly advise clients on financial provision on divorce and am adept at preparing both pre-nuptial and pre-cohabitation agreements. In addition, I have had experience in assisting with international child abductions cases involving the Hague Convention, in which I have acted on behalf of both Pursuers and Defenders.
In addition to my significant family law experience, I have built up considerable knowledge in other areas of general civil litigation including interdict and appeals relating to academic placing requests. I am also able to assist clients who are seeking to obtain Power of Attorney and Guardianship Orders.
I have gained a STEP Diploma in Wills and Executries, having achieved this with distinction. I can therefore assist clients with the preparation of their wills and provide advice on the procedure to be followed after a loved one has passed away.
I have made countless court appearances in sheriff courts across Scotland and has instructed counsel in the Court of Session.
In addition to litigation experience, I have trained in mediation and collaborative law to allow me to provide clients with alternative methods of dispute resolution. My aim is to ensure that client's achieve the outcome they desire in the least stressful manner possible.
