I qualified in 1986, and i have specialised in Family Law from 1999 onwards. I have worked most of my working life in Forfar, with various firms. I currently am a Consultant to Inksters Solicitors, who have offices in Forfar, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Portree, Thurso, Isle of Eigg and Wick. I specialise in high net worth Divorces, and prenuptial agreements. I also can assist with drawing wills, and Powers of Attorney. My colleagues provide support with associated Conveyancing and Commercial work to provide my clients with the full complement of ancillary services required when going through what can be a challenging process. I also am a Smallholder, and, along with my husband, manage 2 actively breeding flocks of sheep - Soays (one of the oldest breeds in the world), and also Hebrideans, renowned for their "top-knots" and multi-horned characteristics, as well as poultry and, of course the "house cat". I consult with clients throughout Scotland (and beyond), and am actively involved, where there is no alternative, in litigations Scotland wide, including in the Court of Session. I sit on a Law Society Committee, as well. I am a "flexible" worker, and fully prepared to accommodate clients' needs out of "normal office hours", to accommodate those, in particular, with agricultural interests which do not "fit" easily with a 9 to 5 weekdays only routine
