I am a practical, focused and approachable lawyer with a range of experience in various areas of family law including child contact/ residence disputes, financial provision on divorce, grandparents rights, pre nuptial agreements and cohabitations claims. I also have a keen interest in rural/ agricultural family law given my rural background.
My main area of expertise is negotiation and if this fails i have expertise in dispute resolution in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. I appear regularly in various Sheriff Courts all over mainland Scotland and the islands. I am well known for my approachable, adaptable and down-to-earth manner. Having an office in both Wick and Edinburgh, as well as good technology, allows me to assist clients in the central belt, highlands and islands.
