I am a Partner in the Family Law team and am based in the Dundee office.
I am accredited as a specialist in Family Law, Child Law and Family Mediation by the Law Society of Scotland and am also a fully trained collaborative lawyer. I have a wide range of experience which includes providing advice and representation for divorce settlements, separation agreements, cohabitation cases and disputes involving children.
I am a past chair of the Family Law Association, the professional organisation for family lawyers in Scotland. I am on the Convener's Group of CALM Mediation and have responsibility for organising training for family mediators. I am also one of the first batch of CALM mediators to complete Child Inclusive Mediation training which allows me to take views from children as part of the mediation process.
I am a Child Welfare Reporter for Dundee Sheriff Court.
I am a member of the Law Society of Scotland mediation specialist accreditation panel.
I regularly present CPD events in family law subjects and I am often asked to contribute and comment on current family law issues for BBC Radio Scotland.
