AGM and Conference Update

Regrettably we have only just been informed by the Old Course Hotel that the Kohler Waters Spa will be closed at the time of the AGM and Conference.

There will be a small gym and limited treatment room facilities available. The hotel has also advised that there will be a complimentary shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearby Fairmont Hotel where guests will have use of that hotel’s spa facilities free of charge.

We appreciate you will be disappointed. The FLA was only given notice of this development recently and it is now too late to look at moving the AGM/Conference to another hotel. We have communicated our displeasure to the Old Course Hotel and we have agreed with the hotel that each delegate will receive a credit of £20 on the room invoice. Delegates sharing with another delegate will have £40 credited to the room invoice. This credit can be used throughout the hotel for any purpose but cannot be exchanged in whole or in part for a cash equivalent. In the unlikely event you have not used the full amount of your credit then it will be lost.

Alternatively, the FLA is willing to accept cancellation of your booking and a full refund will be given. If you wish to cancel, please contact Jennifer Gallagher at jennifergallagher@lindsays.co.uk.

Depending on the feedback we have from members at the AGM, the committee may look at moving the AGM/Conference to another venue FOR 2018. Any feedback you have on that should be sent to Jennifer Gallagher at the email address above or can be included on your event feedback form which will be in your delegate pack.
